Child Development & School Readiness

High-quality preschool settings help children build important social and academic knowledge in a safe and comfortable environment. Children who attend a quality preschool enter Kindergarten with better reading, math, and language skills, compared to children who do not attend preschool.

The studies conducted by Child360’s Research & Evaluation team demonstrate that children who attend quality early learning programs are well prepared to enter Kindergarten, and go on to succeed in elementary school and beyond.

Thanks to LAUP, Sasha was well prepared to excel in school when she began kindergarten. Sasha is now in the 4th grade, enrolled in the Gifted and Talented Program (GATE), has straight A's and is thriving. Thank you LAUP for giving my daughter a head start in school… and in life.
