Family & Community Engagement

Engaging both families and communities is an important factor in building a high-quality early learning environment. Studies show that when parents are involved in a child’s education, attendance and student achievement both improve. In addition, the child is able to see that education is valued within the family and community.

The Family Engagement Specialists at Child360 help places of early learning to improve their engagement practices, in order to ensure that children and their families are both on the path to well-being and school readiness.  Research & Evaluation works with families to determine their needs, assess outcomes, and provide research-based program recommendations.

Nothing stops a bullet like a job; nothing gets a job like a good education; nothing is as important to early education as an involved and engaged parent.
