Thursday, August 5, 2021 – Child360, an early childhood educational non-profit based in Los Angeles, was recently named as one of the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles in 2021. This fourteenth annual program was created by the Los Angeles Business Journal and Best Companies Group.
This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Los Angeles, benefiting the county’s economy, workforce and businesses. The list is made up of only 100 companies, and Child360 ranked #10 within the medium-sized company category.
“Every day I go into work, I feel incredibly lucky. The mission of Child360 is meaningful, but it is the people that make our work exceptional. We care about our work in the community, and this draws a certain kind of person,” remarked William Sperling, CEO of Child360. “Child360 is the best place to work because our Child360 family is a mirror of our mission — characterized by inclusivity, cultural humility and diversity, and fueled by people who are passionate, nurturing and knowledgeable.”
Companies from across the county entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, accounting for approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, which was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Los Angeles, analyzed the data and determined the final rankings.
“More than ever, our world has seen the essential nature of quality child care and the need for equitable access for all. This is what we do, and a healthy company culture is the foundation to advancing this mission, and vision, across the globe,” said Sperling. “I am proud to be on this list with our Los Angeles community.”
The rankings will be published in the August 9, 2021, issue of the Los Angeles Business Journal.
