ECE Webinar and New Policy Report by Child360 and Early Edge California
On April 27, Child360 and Early Edge California co-hosted a webinar to highlight findings and recommendations from our new report: Providing Early Care and Education (ECE) During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Perspectives from Los Angeles County ECE Professionals. The report surveyed nearly 600 ECE professionals across LA County, and clear themes emerged: Health and safety challenges met with the juxtaposition of providing high quality early learning during a pandemic, and a unified agility to execute effective distance learning and family engagement strategies, even if only virtual.
The webinar was attended by 184 participants, with special remarks from California State Senator Connie Leyva.
